INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS
Highlift Equipment requires rental customer to provide an updated certificate of insurance naming Highlift Equipment as loss payee/additional insured on the certificate.
Rental Equipment Protection (REP)
REP Designed with you in mind
Under the Rental Equipment Protection (REP), the rental organization or dealer will not hold you responsible for most causes of damage while the equipment is out on rent. In the event of a loss, REP will cover the replacement or repair of the damaged equipment.
Covered Perils
Common covered losses, including but not limited to:
-accidental damage
-collisions
-earthquake
-falling objects
-fire
-flood
-hail
-overturns
-theft
-tornado
-vandalism
-wind
-other non-excluded perils
Exclusions:
-civil authority
-contamination or deterioration
-criminal fraudulent, dishonest, or illegal acts
-loss of use
-mechanical breakdown
-nuclear hazard
-pollutants
-temperature/humidity
-voluntary parting with title
-war and military action
-wear and tear
-missing property: unexplained or mysterious disappearance (e. g. shortage of property discovered on taking inventory)
